The Atlanta Puzzle Company always looks for hometown artists that have great art with a story to tell. Based in Decatur, GA, Andrea Clay’s painting of her longhaired daschund Kinsey was the first painting we came across from her and it showed us all the amazing pet portraits Andrea has worked on throughout the years.

 

From the Artist: “Kinsey was a longhaired dachshund. She was part of one of the last litters a backyard breeder had produced shortly before the breeder decided to give up the breeding and let the remaining dogs go to adopters. Kinsey had actually been sold but the buyers decided not to take her because she got a cherry eye (swelling in her inner eyelid) which was going to have to be surgically corrected, and also had an umbilical hernia. So … I adopted her. She was a real personality!”

 

 

From the CEO’s desk: “I’ll be honest, I’ve never had a dog. I always wanted one but I’m severely allergic to dogs and cats. Horses too, which is a story for another time. Even the hypoallergenic dogs flare up my allergies. It’s a ruff life sometimes (I’m almost sorry for that bad pun). Ms. Clay’s art and her story about finding and taking Kinsey home show us the impact dogs have on one’s everyday life. Ms. Clay mentioned to me Kinsey was around for 20 years. Unfortunately she is no longer with us. Her image, and the life and joyous moments she gave Ms. Clay, live on in her painting now turned into a puzzle. I reached out to Ms. Clay about Kinsey joining the Atlanta Puzzle Company and she has been nothing short of incredibly gracious with us every step of the way. It’s an honor to carry Kinsey’s story here.” - David

  • RETURNS/REFUNDS:

    To be eligible for a return or refund, your item must still be unopened. It does not matter when the item was originally purchased, but any product that has been opened or is broken is not eligible for return or exchange.

    Because we do not have a physical storefront, to complete your return or exchange, you will need to ship the item to our warehouse so we can process it.

    Atlanta Puzzle Company does not cover the shipping cost for items being returned or refunded. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if there are mishaps with the shipping company you choose.

    Once you contact us, we will issue you a Return Authorization Number. The Return Authorization Number must be included in the box with the item being returned or refund along with a copy of your receipt. 

    Please do NOT send items back without contacting us first. Just like socks in the dryer - anything sent back without us knowing in advance is more likely than not to get lost.

    Without the Return Authorization Number we have no ability to track your item once it arrives in our warehouse.

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
